The Opticron Birdwatchers' Tripod and Monopod Kit is a full size aluminium tripod designed for use with fieldscopes to 80mm OG, photo and video equipment. Model comes complete with an Opticron 42700Q panhead, and a 4-section removable monopod which doubles as the centre column. The tripod is very tall at 178cm fully extended, so for people with straight scopes there is no need to use the central column to look through their scope, thus making the tripod more stable to look through, especially in windy conditions.
