Braun's automatic slide mounting device with C.A.M. system is for PAXIMOUNT CS mounts or C.A.M. systems slide mounts. The film strip is inserted into the transportation or forwards till the last frame is reached by means of a spring-mounted friction wheel which automatically adjusts to suit the thickness of the film.The viewing screen is lit by a speical mat lamp. With the aid of marking lines and 2 1/2 times magnifying glass, the postition of the cut can be determined exactly. The blade is self-sharpening and made of refined steel. This method ensure that a clean cut is made, as the film is pressed down automatically. After the film has been cut, the mount is simply pulled out of the device. It closed itself. 4 corner stops on the viewing panel let you view the slide afterwards under the magnifying glass.
