The flagship of Kata's Global Digital Collection, the BP-502 is the largest backpack in the range. Made up of advanced materials - The outer combines tough Ballistic Nylon with Kata's unique TST (Thermo-Sheild Technology) ensuring a bag that is lightweight, yet offers fantastic protection against knocks and bumps, and the new enemy to digital systems - extreme heat. The interior of the bag is made from "Yelloop" - a soft material that's kind to delicate SLR cameras and lenses. It's bright yellow in colour too, helping you to see small accessories in low light. If you need to add more dividers, an optional "Modi-verse" kit is available in the Kata Accessories section of our site. The BP-502 offers you two options for accessing your gear. A full zipper around the bag reveals your entire kit in the traditional way, while a top opening flap gives fast access to your favourite camera and lens combination and also prevents you needing to lay the harness on the (muddy/wet/sandy) floor - a problem long associated with traditional photo backpacks. A detachable tripod carrying system is supplied as standard. The BP-502's harness is amongst the best in the business. Ergonomically designed to help spread the weight of your gear, it can also be concealed, making travel (especially through airports) easy. Rounding off the impressive specification, the BP-502 is supplied with Kata's two-sided "Elements Cover". Use the black side on rainy days, and the silver on hot days to reflect heat away from your gear. Add the optional Insertrolley for ultimate portablility (see the Kata Accessories section).Internal Dimesnsions: 54cm x 38cm x 28cm (LxWxH)External Dimensions: 58cm x 45cm x 31cm (LxWxH)Weight: 3.9kgCapacity: up to 2 x Pro SLR bodies, 1 x Long Telephoto lens, up to 8 more lenses, a flash and accessories, and a laptop up to 17" in a seperate compartment.
